Irina Shayk, 35, Is Total-Body Goals While Rocking A Cutout Snakeskin Bodysuit At Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty Sho
- Model Irina Shayk just showed off her super sculpted abs and legs at Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty show.
- She owned the runway in a cutout snake print bodysuit, complete with a belly chain.
- Irina says barre workouts and jiu-jitsu help her stay fit even when she’s on the road.
Yep: Irina Shayk, 35, just did that. In brand new pictures from Rihanna’s Savage X Fenty fashion show, Irina flashed her washboard abs and killer legs while strutting her stuff in a barely-there snake print bodysuit.
The look (and her muscles) are so strong. As a supermodel, Irina’s used to showing off her bod, but these new pics take #fitspo to the next level. She looks toned from every angle, and a silver belly chain is the perfect accessory for her six-pack. Overall, it’s iconic—to say the least:
ICYMI, here’s another angle:
So, just how does Irina stay in runway-ready shape? Bradley Cooper’s former flame told Women’s Health back in 2016 that, while she enjoys a good workout, you’ll never catch her on the treadmill. “I hate traditional cardio,” she said. “Running is my worst nightmare, so I’ve had to find something I enjoy that gets me all the calorie-burning benefits of cardio without boring me to death.”
Turns out, Irina found that perfect balance in jiu-jitsu. “Four months ago I started jiu-jitsu with my personal trainer and it’s great. It’s a Japanese self-defense discipline, but because there’s so many possible move combinations, it’s brilliant for constantly challenging my body and pushing it to exhaustion every time,” she explained.
Irina practices jiu-jitsu around four times a week. “If I’m traveling I try to work out in my hotel room or at work during breaks, focusing on simple barre moves that don’t need any equipment and really work my arms and bum,” she added.
When she’s not at the gym, Irina finds other ways to break a sweat. “I went to an Infrared sauna. This is my new obsession,” she told W Magazine. “It heats you up from the inside. You get rid of toxins from the inside out.”
“It makes you really sweat, but it’s not workout sweat,” Irina said. “I go once or twice a week when I’m in New York, and I feel like that’s my workout because you can burn 600 calories. But I’m not going to lose 600 calories. When you go, your skin, everything, you feel better.”
As for her diet, the supermodel says her favorite treat is “cake!” “A good amount of cake,” she told W Magazine. It’s also her favorite breakfast: “I’m trying to stay away from coffee because I think it makes you so dry, especially in the winter.”
Her morning routine is pretty simple. “When I wake up, I have a hot glass of water and with lemon, and one cup of coffee and definitely some cake,” Irina said.
Lunch and dinner are usually bigger meals, she told Women’s Health. “I’m from Russia, so I’ve been brought up on hearty food like meat and dumplings and potato stews in big warming portions,” Irina said. But she added that, if she has a photo shoot or a fashion show coming up, she’ll opt for salads and soups instead.
Either way, it’s clearly working. Brb, off to swap my morning cup of joe for a cupcake!
