He’s Still Not Maui, Right Tia?

Johnson continues to sing his Moana hit to his youngest child, who still adorably doesn’t believe her famous father is the voice of demigod Maui. 

“That’s a very firm, NO,” the dad of three hilariously shared in a recent sing-along video.

He Loves Playtime

Johnson spent a weekend making “some very serious weekend creations” with Jasmine and Tiana. He wrote on Instagram that playtime involves, “precision, focus, execution and explaining to my babies that it’s perfectly fine our  ?only has one eye, because that’s what makes him so special.”

He Doesn’t Mind a Mini Shark Attack

According to the dad of three, his pool days look a little different than they used to. “My pool days = Tia just wanting ‘daddy hold me’ while I walk around inside the pool with her and Jazzy (resurfacing to catch her breath) swims up and bites my legs because “the shark has to kill the big monster” ?? ??‍♂️,” Johnson wrote. 
He added, “Enjoy your families and stay healthy, my friends.”

Johnson’s Father’s Day breakfast with Jasmine was extra special in 2020 because it involved homemade pancakes … that Jasmine then proceeded to eat herself.

He Is a Big Fan of the Sing-Along

And so is his youngest daughter, Tia.

But Don’t Think for a Second Tia Believes He’s Actually Maui

Johnson has tried and tried (to no avail) to get his youngest daughter, Tia, to believe that he is the voice behind Moana‘s Maui. He even sings his song “You’re Welcome” to her over and over and over again. But Tia “refuses to believe that urban legend that her daddy is actually Maui. At this rate,” he added, “it’s even pure speculation that her dad is also The Rock.” 

But it doesn’t matter to Johnson, who wrote, “I’ll happily take these L’s and laugh as long as I get my daddy/daughter bond.”

He’s Willing to Go to Great Lengths for His Daughters’ Fun

When 4-year-old Jazzy asked her dad to hold onto the piñata so that she could take a swing, Johnson didn’t think twice about the consequences. 

“The sacrifices fathers are willing to make,” he wrote, joking, “Candy and sterility all in one swing. ???‍♂️”

Jasmine’s favorite game is to have her dad pour her water, only to take the water, look at her dad and dump it out onto a towel. He doesn’t mind, though, if it means getting to hear his little girl laugh!

“Plus, I know there’s gonna come a day where in daddy’s arms is the last place they want to be,” he added, pointing out, “Baby Tiana Gia is already there with the ‘help me’ look on her face ???‍♂️”

He finished his caption, “Can’t guarantee I’ll love and protect all my daughters for the rest of their lives, but I can guarantee I will for the rest of mine.”
